  • The animations they provide are glitchy
  • You cannot design a template from the ground up and have to use their built-in templates that are all ugly.
  • I haven't even been able to move from test to prod because it doesn't work right and support has been of little help.
  • Update 2023-12-11: I have now learned that WiseStamp doesn't work with the "New Outlook" that Microsoft is trying to convince people to use. I'm also learning that the animation (gif) glitches may be due to versions of classic Outlook as well. They claim they are taking my concerns of not being able to fully edit (i.e. move elements around) their templates as none of them match exactly what we wanted, but were close enough I could have made them work. We'll see.
  • Over-sell
  • In my opinion, animations are glitchy
  • Forced to use built-in templates or pay extra to have them simply copy a signature you create elsewhere. No options to actually build out a signature template to your own specifications.
  • I think it is over priced
  • Doesn't work with "New Outlook" and only certain versions of Classic Outlook.
Haven't found it to be well suited for anything yet. It doesn't work properly.
  • I think I wasted time/money spent trying to make it work
In my opinion, very limited due to being restricted to their template designs and not being able to modify said templates to fit your needs.
CodeTwo was harder to design in, but that is because you have way more options with CodeTwo than you do with WiseStamp. However, I do not know if CodeTwo supports gif animated signatures.
No
  • Integration with Other Systems
My choice was over-ridden in the end anyway.

While you can hire someone to create an HTML signature file for your email, the WYSIWYG interface with WiseStamp really makes it unnecessary. So you can upload your photo, add your contact info and links to all of your social media channels, and instantly see how it will look. And if you don't like it, you can quickly and easily change it. Plus, there are style templates you can use, which also makes it simple so you have some creative freedom to add your own flair. It will also easily integrate with several email apps, so there is not much you need to do. There are also other advanced and premium features you can use, making it a great value. While I can continue on with why I think it's great and have been using it internally and with client companies, you need to stop reading this and try it. Don't overthink something that is simple, as you have other more important things to evaluate that are probably more costly.
  • Easy to design and see what it will look like
  • Easy to make changes
  • Lots of template/layout options to suit your vision
  • Additional premium/advanced features
  • I don't think it's necessary to have a Individual and Business option
  • A QR Code generator would be a nice but only if it is not a redirected link
  • A Zoho Mail integration is lacking but the workaround is simple
I still receive emails from people with a simple "sent from iPhone or sent from iPad" with little to no signature built-in. While I know not everyone is adept or even interested in changing mobile/tablet settings, WiseStamp makes it easy to have a more official-looking signature, in my opinion. Just because you reply to me via a smartphone or tablet, I expect the same level of professionalism. Plus, I don't need to know what device you use to reply or initiate an email, as poor spelling or grammar are essential. Including a photo, especially with many transactions being one in which you never see the person face-to-face, adds a more human element that is really missing. Studies show that ads including a photo of a person will get greater views. I think the same goes for email signature files. My goal is that regardless if I email someone from my laptop, smartphone, or tablet, they should not know as their transactional experience with me should appear to be precisely the same.
  • I cannot say it is something that is measurable.
  • Clients and vendors have both asked about how I crafted my signature file.
  • Sharing WiseStamp with others has always been fun especially when I see them use it.
My recommendation for anyone starting with WiseStamp for the first time is to go super simple. Spend no more than 15 minutes, if even that long, throwing something together. Use that for a couple of weeks and then if you'd like to add some more tricked-out features, go for it but it really isn't necessary. While WiseStamp can do a lot, great design is in the simplicity. So, think of who is going to see the info and craft it with them in mind as more isn't always better. Remember, it's just the gist of who you are and not your resumé.

I have been a subscriber to WiseStamp for two years and it will produce a very nice signature panel, but it's not nearly as easy as the slick marketing video would suggest. The system is buggy at best but if you take the time to out-think the non-WYSIWYG interface and have the patience to adjust>export>test send a signature multiple times to see how it will really look in your emails, this is a good tool at a fair price. Just know that you will need a separate signature file for each of your devices. WiseStamp dose not let you create one signature then export it correctly for iPhone, iPad, and laptop email--you will need to tweak the file for each one. I'm not sure why it's so hard to make an accurate preview to show you exactly how the signature will look, but apparently it is. Then there's the unreliable export function of WiseStamp. It does not work maybe 20% of the time and reports "Somethings wrong, Try later". Very frustrating. However, now that I have figured out the various work-arounds to WiseStamp, I'll continue to use it until something better pops up.
  • Easy to use the interface
  • Really nice templates; the design is great.
  • WYSIWYG preview of the signature panel while you are creating it
  • Eliminate the HTML export delays; the email server is slow
  • Better support for details of installing the signature panels in various devices (iPad, for one)
  • Respond more quickly to support issues
  • Be a little more upfront about charging for the entire year instead of by the month
If you get frustrated easily when web-based apps don't perform as you would expect, this is not for you. You will need to devote a few hours to making your first email signature panel and getting it installed into your phone and tablet. But once you get it all adjusted to your liking, making changes/updates to it over the year is pretty easy to do.
  • None yet, but I do believe in having a very professional looking signature to my many emails.
WiseStamp is clearly better and easier to use than the other two I tried. That's not saying much, though.

We have been using WiseStamp for our company email signatures for over 3 years. We use this so every signature is uniform and matches our branding. We also like using WiseStamp because it can be updated and managed on the back end. WiseStamp is very user friendly. We changed our logo and company branding two years ago and updating it to our signatures took less that 30 seconds.
  • User Friendly
  • Easy to mange all users
  • It would be great if it were easier to create your own template. It's already possible, but it is a little tricky and does take some time to learn.
WiseStamp is best suited for small to mid sized companies. While a larger sized company could, and likely does, use WiseStamp, the updating of employees/members might be tedious. We have a small number of employees so it's easy for me to update quickly as they come on and off board.
  • WiseStamp has allowed us to have a 'uniform front' with our clients. Everyone that a client interacts with has the same branding attached to their emails.
WiseStamp is the only company that we researched for us and our needs. We were referred by a very reputable client who also handles our website. We found the ease of use to be well worth the investment cost.

I'm currently using Wisestamp for my personal email address and used it for our entire staff at my previous job. This allowed us to have brand consistency across all of our email signatures and drive traffic to our website throughout the years for various fundraisers and calls-to-action we were focusing on.
  • Very user-friendly. Loved the simplicity and quick ability to set up.
  • Had lots of themes / designs to choose from and had offered the ability to link social accounts for the most popular current socials.
  • Extremely affordable already, but we also had a promo code which made it even cheaper.
  • You have to choose from their templated designs, which can only be changed a little bit. It would be nice to have more control over the layout of buttons and links.
  • You can only create an email signature for another email address and assign it yourself. There is not the ability for other users to log in to Wisestamp if you've added their email address and set up their own email signature.
  • We had some issues with uploading logos. The images would appear pixelated or a bit distorted. It would be helpful if they provided instructions on the correct image resolutions to upload for the best image quality.
Wisestamp is a great tool if you have several staff members and would like to have brand consistency with their email signatures. If your organization does not have multiple staff or has a tight budget, then Wisestamp may be a tool that I wouldn't consider a 'must have'. It gave our staff a very consistent and professional look, but if social media and CTAs in emails is not a goal for your organization, then you could just create your own email signature manually in Gmail.
  • We've seen several leads and additional revenue through donations come in from using Wisestamp.
  • We've also seen some social media engagement come from the Wisestamp social icons, however, the website/button links have tended to get more clicks.
  • We would often have partners and the people we serve comment on the professionalism of our email signatures. It's definitely helped build our brand.
I have not researched or had any past experience using another email signature builder like Wisestamp. However, I selected Wisestamp because of a promotion that AppSumo was running that gave me lifetime access for only $49. This is extremely affordable and I have not seen any other Chrome plugins that offer something like Wisestamp.
